Study visit at Ghent University

On April 25-27, 2022, three researchers representing the Department of Reproduction and Clinic of Farm Animals of the UPWr and The Committee of Veterinary Sciences and Reproductive Biology - prof. dr hab. Wojciech Niżański, dr hab. Małgorzata Ochota, prof. UPWr and Dr. Sylwia Prochowska performed a study visit to UGent Partner (Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium).


A scientific meeting was organized with the entire team of prof. Ann van Soom, where the current research and directions of future research and publications were discussed. In a separate meeting with prof. van Soom, monitoring of the project implementation was carried out and further mobilities were planned. The visiting researchers had the opportunity to observe the work of the Belgian team during conducting experiments.


The stay was very short, but there was some time in the evening to explore the historic center of Ghent beautifully located by the canals.
