Academic exchange of doctoral students, young scientists and leaders of scientific excellence

During the implementation of the entire project, a number of academic exchanges will take place, in which doctoral students, young researchers, as well as experienced scientists (the so-called leaders of scientific excellence) will participate.

The partners have complementary experience and infrastructure in the research areas of the project. Conducting a multilateral exchange will allow to obtain a synergy effect and maximize the results of research, impossible to achieve in a single unit. It is assumed that the time spent in the Partner’s institutions will result in joint publications in research areas.

Long-term (30-90 days) stays of a research nature are planned, mainly for PhD students and young scientists. The project also provides for short-term trips (approx. 7-day study visits), mainly to leaders of scientific excellence. The main purpose of these exchanges is to discuss the course of the project implementation, strengthen and tighten cooperation between partners, identify key research areas and consultations that are to result in joint research and the preparation of international project applications in the future.

The multicentricity of the project will allow to extend the existing cooperation by using the existing contacts to establish new ones in other research areas being the subject of the project or between partners that have not cooperated so far. As the main goal of the ScienceNet project is to create a network, it is assumed that the exchange is not only between the Applicant and Partners, but also between European Partners. This will allow the creation of a strong research group that will be able to jointly apply for large European projects and be an attractive partner for research centers or business partners with the highest global reputation.
